Once upon a time Pekka and Pertti were just two normal snot-nosed youngsters playing their instruments. They lived their lives happily, knowing nothing of their true destiny, until one day they had stepped to the borders of revelation. Earth rumbled, lightning struck the ground rapidly and the thunder roared like never before, while the icy Northern winds spewed freezing raindrops into the faces of these two young men. Surrounded by gigantic waves of the Endless Ocean, from within which they saw a bright light - it was their future, which was written long ago into the Infinite Time. This was the answer they had both been looking from the beginning of time, and now it was so close that they could nearly touch it, yet still not quite reach it. They needed a way to reach this psycho-social immortality. After the storm had faded away, they knew what they had to do: they were to start a new band.

The first thing these brave warriors needed was to seek out a group of super people, who would not only master their instruments with inhuman virtuosity, serving their musical vision, but who would also learn the discipline of the ultimate and divine powers they were destined to unleash together. During the search, which lasted for many lifetimes, many great musicians fell and were mentally torn apart, until finally the flawless circle of energy was found. This group consisting of six masters was to be called Seraphiel (*).

Once the supreme combination of talent, good spirit and brotherhood was found, it was time start a new chapter in the history of the Universe. To become familiar with the potential the band possessed, they executed secret experiments in order to learn the power, which resulted a four-piece demo. It is not proper, in fact it is strictly forbidden, to speak of this experiment. After grasping the basis of their power and the first few shows the band went back the mystic laboratory chambers, now producing an EP titled "Opposing Existence", which received a lot of good feedback around the globe. As their hunger and passion grew to use their potential, their studies went deeper, and they got lost in the vast plains of knowledge, they forgot what was the most important thing to do. If they only had focused into the meaning of their quest, Seraphiel would've been noticed far further than now. But time wasn't an issue, as history had taught.

Yet during this time one warrior, Kirill, the Voice of Seraphiel fell when it was the time to awake from hibernation. His legacy was most important to the band, as his creations were the lore upon which Seraphiel is made of. Thus the group was without Voice.

But not for long. In honour of Kirill’s legacy, the winds carried whispers of a warrior, whose power was unmatched and would fit perfectly within the others. His power not lacking one inch in skill and attitude. The new Voice of Seraphiel was Vesa!

Now, as the year 2011 draws to it's end, it is time for Seraphiel to return to the surface of the Earth - stronger than ever. The new EP, "Euphory Amplified" is unleashed and with it the name of this SuperPowerMetal group shall be spread upon mankind.


(*) - In case someone doesn't know, Seraphiel is one of eight Judge Angels and a prince of the Merkabah. In Enoch Seraphiel is described as an enormous, brilliant angel as tall as the Seven Heavens with a face like the face of angels and a body like the body of eagles. He is beautiful like lightning and the light of the morning star. As chief of the Seraphim, he is committed to their care and teaches them songs to sing for the glorification of God. In magical lore, Seraphiel is one of the rulers of Tuesday and also the planet Mercury. He is invoked from the North. (Wikipedia)

Unfortunately we don't deal with Christianity. The name is simply awesome.
